of Albariña grape strains and gardens, ideal for walking and disconnecting.

Nestled in a unique environment, with vineyards to walk and disconnect, our rural house is located in Santa Cristina de Cobres, Vilaboa, in the picturesque region of the Rías Baixas.

Located in the San Simón cove, between Pontevedra and Vigo. In Vilaboa and Arcade, 10 minutes away by car, there are small coves and beaches.

Rural Accommodation

Our house offers several rooms available for individual rental, each equipped with a private bathroom, flat-screen television, bed linen, towels and toiletries. All of them are decorated in a rustic style with classic furnishings, blending traditional charm with all modern comforts, creating an ideal atmosphere to enjoy moments of rest and relaxation.

Starting the day at our house is a true pleasure: we offer breakfasts made with natural, top-quality ingredients, prepared with care so that every morning of your stay becomes a special and unforgettable moment.

Our history

The history of our house begins centuries ago at the Os Areeiros estate, whose oldest recorded documents date back to 1613. Since then, this place has been intimately tied to the world of wine — a bond that remains alive to this day.

The Martínez family has always called this house their home, carefully tending their vineyards and crafting wine by hand from century-old vines. Each bottle thus carries the legacy of generations, the taste of tradition and the essence of a land that breathes history at every turn.

The winery

In 2005, our winery embarked on an exciting journey of renovation and modernisation, evolving from the traditional production of a red wine full of history and dedication, using ancient presses, such as our lagar or lagareta, towards a more innovative and professional approach.

With modern trellising systems, a pneumatic press, controlled fermentation and cold stabilisation, we seek to enhance the quality of our wines, achieving a white Albariño and a red blend based on Mencía, Caíño and Sousón that reflect the very best of our land and tradition.

Our wines

Our wines are distinguished by a unique and special character, born from the combination of soil, climate and tradition. The land, composed of granite, clays derived from feldspars and porous sands, provides structure and minerality, whilst the Atlantic climate, mild in temperature and shaped by warm and humid oceanic currents, allows the vines to express their full potential. From this terroir springs a 100% Albariño, fresh and genuinely Galician, and a native red wine crafted from the Caíño, Mencía and Sousón varieties, reflecting the identity and essence of our land.
